Experiment-France will help design group programs to suit specific needs and desires for enriching travels. Our custom designed programs offer a variety of experiences (homestay, language study, adventure touring) and allow participants to explore, in one program, several facets of French culture.
An example of a custom-designed two-week itinerary
PARIS (3 nights):
DAY 1: Arrival in Paris - Boat cruise on the Seine
DAY 2: Treasure hunt in Paris - evening visit of Montmartre & Sacré-Coeur Basilica
DAY 3: The many faces of Paris
HOMESTAY with activities (7 nights):
DAY 4: Arrival in Vitré (small medieval town in Brittany)
DAY 5: Stay with host family
DAY 6: Visit to a local school where a storyteller recounts the Celtic legends set in Brittany (Merlin, the Holy Grail)
DAY 7: Stay with host family
DAY 8: Day excursion to the fortified city of St-Malo and to the marvel of Mont Saint-Michel
DAY 9: Farewell dinner with host families and participants
LOIRE VALLEY (3 nights):
DAY 10: Arrival in Tours - Guided tour of the city
DAY 11: Kayaking on the Loire River - Visit of Villandry, its chateau and world-renowned gardens
DAY 12: Return to Blois. Make your own bread at a traditional bakery - Visit of the Chenonceaux chateau and the Vouvray vineyards
PARIS (1 night):
DAY 13: Return to Paris - visit of the Louvre Museum and biking along the Seine
DAY 14: Departure
Other suggestions: longer stay in Paris, one or two weeks homestay (with or without French classes), intensive language course, additional weeks to explore one of the above regions.
